MICHAEL RELFORD

ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Michael joined Wave Engineering as an Electrical Designer in October 2017; however, he hopes to eventually attain the title of Professional Engineer. Michael’s intention to grow and develop alongside Wave and its employees provides a necessary drive to succeed, which is instrumental in the success of Wave’s projects.

Michael’s education in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University provided the perfect technical foundation for him to play a pivotal role within the Electrical Department, where he works alongside Principal Greg Godfrey. While Michael’s responsibilities include day-to-day operations, he must also keep up with the steep learning curve.

Michael’s prior experience as a general contractor’s project manager, in addition to his current role with Wave, lends him a thorough understanding of the entire construction process from inception to completion, which makes him a crucial asset. Michael also knows multiple computer programming languages.

He has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and an insatiable hunger for growth, which may help him realize his dream of one day harnessing the power of lightning as a source of natural energy.

In his free time, Michael enjoys relaxing at home with his fiancée, Tiara, playing video games, reading manga, and watching anime.
